Back to School

So currently, the mission is to complete everything for my online class before it actually starts. It sounds crazy, I know, but I think it may just work. I mean, let's think about it.
1) It's an online class where we watch a lot of movie.
2) So while watching said movies I get to a) pack to go back b) go on the treadmill and c) craft! I'm actually watching one of the movies I have to watch right now, while writing this blog entry. Aren't I just awesome.
3) Writing the papers in between these times will also give me a reason to sit in from of the computer and actually work by brain.
So this is what I have learned about the topic of "Gay and Lesbian Film"
1) Dear God, don't let Paul Newman be gay. He's a beautiful creature. NOT HIM!

2) When I have kids, if they ever call my husband "Big Daddy", I will kill them.

3) The L Word was right. Everything they have ever said about the gay commumity is right. Well, from what I know.

Seriously, look that this man. Paul Newman is gorgeous! Think him and Robert Redford....mmmm.... it's like melting chocolate.

Alright, and for some new shop items!

Toy Story 3, 3-D and IMAX

I remember being a kid and going to the Liberty Science Center. We must have went there for two class trips or something. I actually remember my ex talking about wanting to go up there for a date. Guess that didn't happen.
Anyways, Liberty Science Center is up in Jersey City. I specifically remember the IMAX theatre there. It was amazing. They'd show you these education films (I always remember the Solar System movie; it must have amazed me) in IMAX, and the screen was all around you. You could see stars on the floor and above you. It was crazy.
I also remember my 3-D movie experience down in Disney World (the one in Florida). One of the parks used a 3-D Muppett's show, and stuff used to fall from the ceiling. Like, someone on the screen threw a bucket of water and water fell from the ceiling. It was crazy

So remembering these experiences reminds me that there is no way I'm going to get this awesome experience when I go to watch Toy Story 3 in 3-D and IMAX.

I did cry like a small child during the movie.... twice.... I'm sorry! The look Andy gave Woody at the end of the movie made me cry! The Toy Story movies always remind me to love my toys. I havent thrown any in the garbage, but I would like to find them a good home one day, you know? I wish I knew a small child who would love my toys that I know. I could donate them, but it's not the same. They don't all go together to one place.
It's crazy what movies and TV shows make you think about, isn't it? Dogma made me second guess my religion, Buffy makes me petrified of someone pointing two fingers at your eyes and moving them, and 30 Rock reminded me why I want to be a script writer (I wanted to do that before I watched it, though.)
So yeah, go see Toy Story 3, but make sure if you go to see it in IMAX, it's in a dome theatre. Otherwise, don't waste the money for IMAX and go see it regularly.

I've added more items to my shop, which I will be posting now.

Etsy Shop!

So my new current adventure is actually maintaining my Etsy shop. Currently I'm working on trying to make my first sale so... let's see how it goes!

All of the hats I am making are out of excess yarn. It's getting to the point where I'm going to start throwing away yarn to get a use for it, so I'm making hats and seeing how they sell. The problem is, making them are so damn addicting I just can't stop!

The jewelry is stuff I've been wanted to put up on Etsy but never did. I have the stuff to make them, but I just didn't make them because my last semester was so heckic. I'm hoping the summer isn't the same way so that I can get my Etsy shop to sell stuff!!!!!
